When to Go
Winter (May to October) is the most popular time for exploring Bolivia with its dry, clear days and cold nights. The high tourist season falls in the winter (late Jun - early Sep). Summer (November to April) is the rainy season when overland transportation can be very difficult, and temperatures very humid in the tropical lowlands.
Culture
Bolivian culture is as diverse and colourful as its population. Bolivia's Incan heritage, as well as Indian and Spanish influences can be witnessed in its religion, music, art and clothing. Bolivia is full of a variety of festivals, including special dance celebrations, such as the 'Carnaval de Oruro'.
